Balloons

Everyone at RedRibbon Days loves balloons! We love balloons so much that customers have a choice of sending their gift voucher with balloons via our courier delivery.

Our Founder and CEO, Sherin Wong is a big fan of balloons too. Recently she decided to add Bespoke Balloons on our website and we are thankful that the demand has been amazing. Bespoke balloons are those giant balloons that we custom make and deliver to any location - Currently only available in KL (Klang Valley).

Since balloons have been very popular, we have a R&D department where our creative team can come up with better ideas / design to cater for our customers' needs.

We use Hi Float for our RedRibbon Days' balloons so it lasts longer (below)

Once a while, Sherin will check to see the maximum capacity of our balloons (below)

Izza offered help to check the maximum capacity of our balloons recently (below)

But I'm not sure what she was doing after that (below)

Microlight Experience KL

RedRibbon Days has a new experience - the microlight experience. I never really knew the difference between microlight, paragliding or paramotor . Since I have tried both paragliding and paramotor (similar to paragliding with a motor behind - powered paragliding), I was excited to experience microlight.

Microlight is a light aircraft with wings.

I arrived early at the site in Sepang and managed to take some pictures of the set up of the microlight (below).

It is a cool and amazing experience. Perfect for adventurous / adrenaline seekers. And since the location for this experience is by the beach in Sepang, the view is pretty awesome too.

This experience is available only on Saturdays and Sundays. Do contact us at info@redribbondays.com.my or check out our website, www.redribbondays.com.my for more information.

A Yuzen Dining Experience

At RedRibbon Days, we constantly hunt and gather new experiences to add them on our website.

Recently, we were contacted by a restaurant to help them promote and market their dining experiences on our website. We were invited to try the dishes as well. I decided to follow Charlene for the meeting. The restaurant, Yuzen Japanese Restaurant is located at Damansara Perdana.

The VIP service that we received was amazing. When we arrived, we notice that a waitress was waiting outside the restaurant to receive us (below)

Once we enter the restaurant, the Chef/Owner started working on some dishes for us to try (below)

We tried few dishes that day.

The first was Mini Chirashi Sushi (below)

Next was the fried oyster vermicelli

Then was my favourite - the scallop and foie gras

and finally the dessert

what do we think of the food? I think Charlene's expression tells it all (below)

If you are interested to try the dishes we tried, log onto our website.

RedRibbon Days Models

RedRibbon Days diversified our experience gifting business to movie production early this year with RK Screen. We are very thankful that our first movie, Balistik did amazingly well.

Since we managed to diversify our business to an industry that is so different from what we are doing (selling gifts), why not continue to diversify the business to another industry - talent/modeling industry. After all we have very good looking people working for us at RedRibbon Days.

Note: Although my talents below do not know that I am putting their profiles up, please feel free to contact me if you are interested in any of 'my' talents below.

Please meet my first talent. (Oh I so hope I dont get in trouble with this. After all she's my boss and she is the founder and CEO of RedRibbon Days - Sherin Wong):

Please meet our RedRibbon Days Trainer: Kajai (below)

Amazing dancer - although I have yet to see her dance.

Please meet Izza.

She's known as Ms. Izza amongst our Security Guards.

Please meet Kaveena. She has the sweetest voice ever. I am going to get her to sing for us one day (below)

Please meet Glena (below)
She is the baby at RRD.

And finally, presenting my corporate guys - Adrian aka our satay guy 1

and Keith, our satay guy 2

Raya Celebration at RedRibbon Days

We recently organised Raya pot luck celebration at our RedRibbon Days' office. The food that everyone brought were amazing. (below)

But the highlight of the day was the fact that everyone dressed according to the theme. I just love sporting team members. I'm even more impressed with the fact that one of our team member actually brought clothes for those who did not have costumes!

My favourite team photo of the day (below)

Photo credit to Mac after patiently taking directions from Izza. (below)

So thank you Mac for the picture!

Our Mysterious Delivery Girl

RedRibbon Days' operating hours is Mondays to Fridays, 9am till 6pm. Therefore our despatch team can only deliver during that time.

However, if it is an urgent delivery and our customers do not mind paying more, we can make an exception since recently we have a mysterious delivery girl in our despatch team.

I bumped into her when I dropped by our RedRibbon Days office recently to collect something. I even managed to take pictures of her (below)

Check out our website www.redribbondays.com.my for gift ideas and if you would like us to deliver outside our operation hours, it can be done!

Redribboners

RedRibbon Days has amazing team members that are excellent problem solver.

I am thankful that we have a close knitted team that enjoys having lunch together. The problem we face is deciding what to eat, so how did one of our team member solve it? I was impressed when I saw the solution (below):

I think Adrian came out with the idea to solve our "What to eat problem". How does it work?

Everyday, one person will get a chance to shoot the target and the points accumulated will decide what's for lunch.

Our newbie Glena was excited because she got a chance to shoot the target (below):
She wasnt sure how to shoot so our Pro Adrian showed her how it's done (below)

Yup, for accurate shots, the trick is to close one eye.

Another example that we have amazing problem solvers in our team is when I saw these flowers on Izza's workstation below:

Some of our team members are sensitive to pollen. How did we solve that problem? Yup, Izza removed the pollen grains.

Jalan Alor Ngau Lay Soh

The corporate team at RedRibbon Days loves meeting corporate clients to present and share about what we do at RedRibbon Days. I love our supportive team members - everytime we have meeting with a corporate client, our team members will wish us Good luck and err what is for tea.

What is for tea? Yup, we love our food at RedRibbon Days. We recently had a meeting in KL and I was delighted that the meeting was at 3pm, therefore the little stall at Jalan Alor that sells chinese doughnuts should be open by then.

The doughnuts are amazing (below)

My personal favourite is the ever so crispy Ngau Lay Soh.

Took a picture of the hardworking couple (below)
Adrian and I were extremely delighted that we found the stall and couldnt wait to eat the donuts!

Satay Experience

Satay is a very popular dish in Malaysia. Everyone at RedRibbon Days love it. I love it so much that I suggested to Sherin, our Founder and CEO of RedRibbon Days that the next person that join our RRD team has to have skills in barbecuing satay.

After months of interviewing candidates, we finally found our satay guy - Adrian! (below)

He even has his own portable oven to grill the satay for us at the office (below)
We love our satay so much and demand has been mad that we have another satay guy - Keith (below)

Since corporate enquiries for RedRibbon Days experience vouchers have been amazing, we are short of staffs for satay orders (since our focus at RedRibbon Days is selling experience vouchers). We recommend Fauzi Satay because they make great satay as well (below)

Outdoor Rock Climbing

RedRibbon Days has this amazing experience called Outdoor Rock Climbing for Two but we can cater for more than 2 people. It is an amazing gift for adventurous people. It is perfect for beginners as well.

We had few corporate recipients that chose this experience recently and I couldn't wait to join them for their experience. I had to wake up at 6am on a Sunday morning to go for this experience but I was so excited that I woke up before my alarm rang.

I took some pictures during the experience: (below)

Our rock climbing instructor briefing the participant (below):
and up he goes. It was his first time ever rock climbing and he did amazingly well (below):
another participant that morning who did amazingly well too (below):

I was given the opportunity to try out rock climbing as well and I gladly took the offer since the other participants made it look so easy (below)
I was kind of half way up and realised that it is not as easy as it looked but it's certainy and amazing experience. I cant wait to do it again.
