Helicopter KL Sky Tour

Life is good at RedRibbon Days. I am a self proclaimed adrenaline junkie who loves fast cars and flight & flying. And the best thing about RedRibbon Days is that I get to do what I enjoy best during weekdays! On February 17, 2011 (Thursday), I get to accompany our client from the Middle East to experience KL Sky Tour on a helicopter. A picture of the helicopter (below) We were extremely grateful because the weather was great that day. The view from above is fantastic. View from above: I even spotted our office (below):

Nik and I were at the airport and both of us wanted to go on the helicopter. I managed to convince her to allow me to go on the helicopter. In return, I will give her our very own money cant buy view from the top. I kept my promise.

I gave Nik an experience she will never forget - instead of a Helicopter KL Sky Tour, I gave Nik a View from the Top - but she has to climb up a ladder to experience it. (below)

It made her day. She never regret a single moment that she allowed me to get on the helicopter. After all, she could experience our very own RedRibbon Days' view from the top.

The many faces of Red Ribbon Days' EEO

Nik communicates very well using only facial expression.

Question: Guess what is she thinking (below)

Answer: Erm. Are you kidding me?

Question: Guess what is she thinking (below)

Answer: No meaning. She just wants to dig her nose.

Question: Guess what is she thinking (below)

Answer: Eww!! Disgusting.

Question: Guess what is she thinking (below)

Answer: I thought the cleaner is gone. Why do I still smell him.
.....The closer she puts her nose towards Theing's armpit, the stronger the smell is.
Lastly, whenever you are stuck in traffic and you see someone picking their nose in the car - that's Nik!

Sabah, my homeland

Redribbon Days was engaged to do an event in Sabah. I was so happy when I found out from Sherin about it. I was brought up in Sabah and I always wanted to go back to Sabah - Tanah Airku (Sabah, my homeland). I was extremely happy and thankful because I get to do something that I love (which is visiting one of the most beautiful cities in the world) and I get paid to do it. Come to think of it, ever since I joined RedRibbon Days - Everything that I have done are things that I always wanted to do. No wonder time passes so quickly for me at work - get to do things I love and getting paid for it!

I have always wanted to bring Sherin and Nik to visit Sabah. I told Sherin so many great things about Sabah, she finally gets to experience it!

The event was a success - as usual. Trust me, it's the RedRibbon Days' Magic touch!

.. and after (below)

During our trip in Sabah, we had the opportunity to eat a lot of local cuisine.

Photos of the delicious food (below):

Curry chicken on wanton noodles
Yong tau foo soup
All kinds of seafood including fish that tastes like chicken. (below)
The seafood is fresh and the price is reasonable. We even ordered snails.

It was Nik's first time trying siput (snails). Oysters are considered aphrodisiac but I didnt know Nik is attracted to Siput! Check out her facial expression below:

True Love Waits

It has been a while since I blogged - 8 weeks to be exact. Fortunately, I have been taking photos of happenings around me so when I finally made myself to start blogging again, I have my materials :)

Sometime in January 2011, we had the pleasure to manage an event for a kid's birthday party. The event was a success - as always. The client was extremely satisfied with our ideas, execution and the flow of the event. What is our secret? I call it the RedRibbon Days' Magic. The theme of the event is 'bringing top chefs and cinema home'. I didnt take photos of the chefs but below are photos of how we transformed an empty hall to a cinema.

We enjoyed ourselves planning and executing the event. Our very own 'Arts and Craft' team put in the most effort. Pictures of our arts and craft team members (below):

However, as always, my blog is about the other side of RedRibbon Days. So the focus is not about the planning and executing the event but about our very own Pleasure Team Consultant - Penny.

A picture of Penny (below)

Penny was so excited when she found out that she will be involved in a kid's birthday party. She told me that she loves doing events and meeting people... oh I think she said she loves meeting kids and playing with them.

There were around 100 people that came that day. Penny's dream came true - she met a lot of kids. She even found the man of her dreams.... erm more like the boy of her dreams. In a few years time, I'm sure 'Ashton' will grow up to be a fine man.... ok maybe not a few years.. maybe another 15 to 20 years. Penny is sticking to her believe - True love waits.

Happy waiting Penny!
