Recently I bought an experience for my family for their birthday - Eat and Drink the Mexican Way and I had the opportunity to go for the experience with them as well. We truly enjoyed the experience because it's not those boring experience where you just go to a Mexican restaurant and dine but we had a bartending session and it's really fun learning how to make Margarita.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the Bartender Jose. (below)
Jose then went behind the bar and explain to us about tequila and steps to make cocktails. He even demonstrated it for us so we could follow the steps.
After that, it was our turn to go behind the bar and follow the steps of making a Margarita and voila!
We get to drink the cocktail that we made. I thought mine was the best! Haha!
After the bartending session, we were ushered to our table.
And the food kept coming!
First course was the Tortilla chips served with chile con queso dip (below)
The dip was really good. We even asked for more tortilla chips for this course.
Second course - Sopa de Tortilla (below)
And the next course - Sopes de Pollo
Tacos ensenada (left) and Jalapeno Poppers (super yum and spicy - right) (below)
Pollo a la Parilla (below)
and finally Warm Chocolate cake served with a scoop of ice cream and brandy-flambeed banana (below)
Oh yes, i forgot about the drink that is included in this experience - Choice of Agua Fresca - a choice of Tamarind, Horchata, Hibiscus of Limon Flavour
We tried the hibiscus which was pretty good (below)
The package that we have on RedRibbon Days is perfect for 2 person, so it you have more people, we can customise for more pax.
